Injections of Dysport® works by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles. When injected into targeted facial muscles, Dysport blocks the nerve signals that cause those muscles to contract, leading to smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
Dysport® (AbobotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved injectable prescription medicine similar to Botox but by a different manufacturer, Galderma. It is commonly used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause them.
